We're thrilled to announce the launch of WILD Ones Forest School in Pemberton! Building on our existing series of workshops and nature education programs for all ages, this exciting new additions offers a unique education expereince specifically designed for families in the beautiful Southern Forests region.
Forest School: Not a School at all Really!
Forest School isn't your typical classroom setting. Here, the towering trees become teachers, the rustling leaves compose the soundtrack, and the forest floor transforms into a natural learning laboratory. Our program, designed for school aged children, is all about fostering a deep connection with nature through adventure play exploration. The focus is on encouraging young people to be themselves, and guide their own engagement and activity.
Imagine your child scaling a fallen log, its surface a daring mountain to conquer. Picture them huddled in a fort of sticks and leaves, their imaginations weaving a world of adventure. At Forest School, these moments of exploration spark curiosity, develop problem-solving skills, and ignite a love for the natural world. Not to mention an intrinsic connection to the forests where they live.
Learning Through Play
Think of it like outdoor education, survival skills, nature play or similar. It turns the outdoors into a place for hands-on skills, teamwork, and a love for the environment. incorporating elements of:
